About the Directors
St Congar was established in 2003 and is run by Miff Chichester and Steve Taylor.

Miff Chichester
Miff Chichester completed his degree in Valuation and Estate Management in 1990 from Bristol Polytechnic, having spent the previous six years as a Commercial Diver working on the oil and gas rigs of the North Sea, Irish Sea, Mediterranean and The Gulf of Mexico.
He qualified as a Chartered Surveyor with Weatherall, Green & Smith in 1992 but left in 1995, (after a short spell at DTZ Debenham Thorpe), and set up his own company, Henry Chichester in St Petersburg, Russia, building and refurbishing commercial and residential real estate. From 1995 to 2000, he and his partners grew the business and have completed approximately 1,000,000 sqft of offices, retail and residential development. Henry Chichester is still going strong and continues to work productively in the Eastern European market.
In 2001, Miff returned to work with CB Hillier Parker as a Central London Development/Investment Director and in 2003, he took equity in The Property Merchant Group, specialising in the redevelopment and refurbishment of commercial and mixed use buildings in Central London/South East of England. Whilst at PMG, he and his partner completed a further 500,000 sqft of mixed use real estate reconfigurations, mainly in Central London
In 2007, his entity St Congar Properties Ltd purchased an office building on a five acre site in centre of Windsor. A planning application for a 240,000 sqft new office development has been completed and the team expects to be 'breaking ground' in 2010. He and his partner, Steve Taylor have also set up St Congar Land with Europa Capital Partners, which specialises in the acquisition of land around the South of England and Wales for residential and mixed uses
He is married to Jill, another Chartered Surveyor, and they have three daughters. He lives in Buckinghamshire, where Jill runs the family farm and he indulges in all the usual country pursuits. He regularly travels back to the West Country, as he is still playing rugby for Chew Valley Vets

Steve Taylor
Steve qualified as a Chartered Surveyor (Planning and Development Division) whilst at Weatherall Green and Smith (now BNP) where he worked in the Town Planning and Residential Consultancy team. High profile projects he was involved with included Westminster Hospital, Limehouse Basin in Wapping, and numerous NHS sites.
Steve joined Close Brothers in 1997 to run a residential development fund which grew to in excess of £100m. He was responsible for over 70 developments through out the UK, more than £500 million of commercial property syndications and a number of successful large land promotion projects.
Steve was appointed a director and member of Cordea Savills LLP in 2004. He was a key team member behind the creation and running of the Diversified Residential Opportunities Fund and the Cordea Savills Student Halls Fund. More latterly, he was responsible for over £100m of equity raised for land enablement funds which invested and promoted 23 sites in the UK.
